Octopus Hunter

Tried another approach with non-digital linework and photoshop painting. Still have two completely different looking screens. This might be very saturated.

Rain Worm... After Effects test (Tribute to "Rain Town")

I wanted to try some things out in After Effect so I turned an old spitpainting into a little shot.

Heavily Inspired, or pretty much stolen from the short movie: Rain Town, directed by  Hiroyasu Ishida
If you haven't seen it, you should watch it!

Yesterday after a holiday in Denmark that ended in a delayed flight, 6 hours in the airport and coming home to the flat in Berlin at 05 in the morning, I was too tired to do anything serious. So I got some charcoal out instead. The original is a Photography by Benno Thoma from the book Nude Index 1.

Crazy Pirate Cook

Thought I'd do one of the weekly challenges. This one is for a Crazy Pirate Cook, who cooks deadly disgusting dishes.

I have two screens at the moment and the image looks completely different in each one, so if the images are overly saturated or contrasty, its probably because I made them on the wrong screen.

Thought I'd try to do the same character in different styles.
I am not a big fan of the manga way of drawing characters, but it was more fun drawing it than expected :)

This is for a personal project about a girl and a giant in a big Norwegian forest, trying to figure out how the giant looks.
